The slight crackling, low end bass hum, combined with the raw 70s influenced hard rock/metal of this music is a nostalgia assault on the senses. Wrap that within the lead singer's praise/exalt for the Christain Savior and you have yourself one of most wonderfully crafted hidden gems of a band in modern existence.

25 years ago, I had a huge collection of almost every NWOBHM single & demo. I generally don't like modern bands who imitate that sound, but Coltre do it really well. I just wish they wouldn't master it to sound like a 3rd generation tape dub of a 7-inch, complete with background hiss. No thanks! Let's hear this great sound with modern production values, please!
